Study Modules

Engaging with Scripture (30 weeks)

This will involve detailed study of selected books of the Bible. Over the year we will look at a variety of Bible books, representing different literary genres from both Old and New Testament. We will also consider principles of interpretation and handling of the text of the Bible.

Engaging with the Big Picture (20 weeks)

In this module we will study a Bible overview through the lens of God’s involvement with people.

Engaging with Islam (5 weeks)

This module helps us to understand the Islamic faith by considering its origins, history, beliefs and practices.

Engaging with Local Church Ministry (5 weeks)

This module focusses on pastoral issues facing those who minister in a local church. 

Engaging with the Gospel (10 weeks)

This module considers how the gospel can impact a postmodern culture, and is followed by a number of evangelists sharing their convictions and experiences.

Engaging with Leadership (5 weeks)

This module explores the biblical models of leadership in contrast with secular leadership models. The character of the leader is a main focus.

Engaging with Apologetics (5 weeks)

This module looks at key questions that are barriers to faith and looks to strengthen our foundational confidence in the Bible

Engaging with Basic Doctrines (5 weeks)

This module develops our understanding of the Trinity, Father, Son and Holy Spirit, of the atonement and the church.

Engaging with Proverbs (5 weeks)

This module looks at the understanding and application of the book of Proverbs to our personal life and our relationship with others.
