Tiddlywinks Group

The Tiddlywinks team are delighted to be able to restart our parent and toddler group on Thursday mornings at Highfields church. Having been looking through the guidance and regulations we are able to resume Tiddlywinks from Thursday 12th November.

Parent and Toddler groups have specific mention of indoor activity that is permitted to gather indoors. We had already been planning for and practiced with 15 families and so we are excited to be able to run tiddlywinks in a covid safe, parent friendly way.

Just to reassure you how we are meeting the requirements to keep you safe.

• We have a 2m queuing system to get in the building.
• Each family has a chair base 2m apart from anyone else.
• Each base has wipes and antibacterial gel for your own use.
• We have a cleaning routine every 15 minutes.
• Masks are compulsory throughout the building.
• 15 adults only allowed (please come alone, no couples / bringing someone else) every adult needs to sign up with their own child / children.
• There is no requirement for under 11s to socially distance.
• Baby change and toddler toilet facilities are available.
• Sign up is essential, do not attend if you do not have a confirmed place.
• Do not attend if you or anyone in your household or extended household has any COVID-19 symptoms.

We are confident this is a safe space and despite the restrictions we can continue to provide the support, chat, laughs, stories and craft that we know are so important to parents of preschool children.
