Dr Gary Habermas

If you are a full-time or part-time pastor, minister, priest or other churchworker, or minister in training, this one-off workshop on Monday 20th July at Highfields Church, may be just the training boost you need!

Our guest speaker is Dr. Gary Habermas, who is Distinguished Research Professor at Liberty Baptist Theological Seminary. He has coauthored 36 books, over 60 chapters and articles in other books, and over 100 other articles and reviews.

Dr. Habermas is one of the world's leading academic authorities on the subject of the resurrection of Christ

He has delivered over 1800 lectures at around 100 universities, regularly gives TV and radio interviews and is renowned for his expertise in the Turin Shroud, Near Death Experiences and - of course - the historical resurrection of Jesus Christ. He has debated leading atheists such as Prof. Anthony Flew, and worked closely with Dr. N. T. Wright and Michael Licona. He educates, challenges, and inspires with his messages.

It's all about the Resurrection ...

... or it's about nothing at all!

The resurrection of Jesus Christ transformed a bunch of losers into a powerhouse that transformed the known world. That understanding is the motivation behind this special event, aimed at strengthening the effectiveness of all involved in Christian ministry in South Wales.

"Dr Habermas is one of the finest Apologists in the world - personable, stimulating and equipping."  Richard Cunningham - Director of UCCF
