Ministry Apprentice Scheme

Highfields Church is one of the largest churches in Wales uniquely situated in the heart of Cardiff serving a diverse community. We are passionate about reaching people with the good news about Jesus, making and maturing disciples and investing in the next generation of leaders.

Our Ministry Apprenticeship scheme is an 11 month training programme for those wanting to either explore a calling into full-time Christian ministry or to serve in the local church to discover and develop their gifts. The programme is designed to give you training in one specialised area of interest, whilst offering you the chance to experience the breadth of work in a busy city church.

The Training Position includes:

• Formal training on our Ministry Training Programme, plus tutorial discussions with the pastoral team
• You will receive the opportunity to go on an overseas mission trip to experience cross cultural mission.

You will need to be a committed Christian, with good communication and inter-personal skills and a heart for serving the church. You must have good time management and organisational skills as well as enjoy working as part of a team.
