In April 2013, Peter Baker preached his final sermon to the people of Highfields Church in Cardiff, the congregation he'd served as Senior Pastor for the previous 18 and a half years. During that period, Highfields had seen considerable growth, bucking the broad trend of decline in churches around Wales.
In his final month at Highfields, before leaving to pastor a church in Bournemouth, England, Peter agreed to be interviewed by award-winning BBC journalist Roy Jenkins about his role in leading Highfields, the priorities of his ministry, the trials and rewards of pastoring a growing congregation and the painful decision to move on.
The interview was recorded at Highfields Church's main centre in Cardiff on 17th April 2013.
