God's people are often up against it. Abraham saw a barren wife and a far off country. Moses saw a harsh dictator and a nation under pressure. David saw a military bully and a fearful army. But they also saw a God who delights to turn certain disaster into glorious victory. They resolved to walk by faith, not by sight.

2016 marks the 30th anniversary of Highfields Church. From unexpected beginnings, where a small group of believers worshipped on the move, through an unlikely building project needing miraculous intervention, right up to the present day with unbelievable opportunities and challenges before us, we have sought to walk by faith, not by sight.

We worship a faithful God of magnificent power and marvellous love shown in the gospel of His Son, our Lord Jesus Christ. A God who calls us to walk by faith, not by sight
