Barnabas Fund Partnership

The Highfields Compassion Ministry are excited to announce we're launching a new initiative.
Barnabas Fund Partnership

Barnabas Fund

Background to the Ministry

With the help of church members we'll be working in partnership with the Barnabas Fund to deliver practical aid to the persecuted church across the world. Highfields Church has become a regional hub for South Wales, coordinating, collecting, and transporting onwards, donations of goods from other churches across the region. We'd love for you all to watch our introductory video to find out more and see how you can pray, support, or join with us.

If you'd like to get more involved as we seek to practically help those in need, we'd love to hear from you. You can either email the Compassion Ministry at to find out more or grab either Darran Waters or Deane Clements for a chat.

The Barnabas Fund currently need:

  • Tinned food (cans with a ring pull are particularly useful)
  • Dried food

In addition to this practical approach please do continue to give financial support to Christian organisations in Ukraine and neighbouring countries. This allows relief agencies to provide what is most needed. You can either:

  • Give to the Highfields Ukraine Relief Fund, which will be split between two UK Christian Charities working with Ukrainians. Gifts can be paid to the account name: Highfields Church, sort code: 30-91-63, account number: 07106087. Please mark the payment with the reference 'Ukraine Relief Fund'.
  • Give directly to one of the relief agencies/Christian charities. See our list of suggested Christian Relief Agencies Open in new window.
  • Finally, please continue to pray for the ongoing war in Ukraine. Please pray for those affected by the violence and for Gods church in all the countries affected. Pray also for those in leadership, the decisions they make, and that peace may prevail.
