Student Nexus

Every Tuesday of term we meet together as a student community for Nexus, our weekly small group Bible study.  Our studies continue in the book of Daniel.

If you're new to Highfields church, or have never been to our Nexus small group Bible study before, here's a taste of what to expect!

We meet at church at 6.30pm for a meal together, before breaking into small groups to study Gods word. There's also opportunity to share in prayer, and dwell on what God has been saying as we end the night in sung worship.

What a challenge and encouragement we're offered in Daniel 3 last week. We hope and pray it was a blessed time for you to get into God's word with friends, and think together about what it means to have faith in the goodness of our God.

Daniel 3 is a wonderful picture of faith: that when we trust in the character and goodness of our God, we are able to step out in boldness for His name, knowing He will keep us. And although He may not always deliver us now, Jesus' resurrection is an assurance that He will deliver us ultimately when He comes again! What good news we have to live by as those who follow our Risen King.
