Engage, our annual church day away, is back again and this year it’s even better!
The vision of Engage is to help us grow as God’s community, deepening relationships, welcoming newcomers and living together as God's family in light of the gospel. It’s a day full of excellent bible teaching, opportunities for fun and a chance to get to know other people in our church family better.
We’re delighted that Ed Shaw, Associate Pastor at Emmanuel Bristol will be our main speaker. Ed is a nationally recognised conference speaker and author, He's the author of The Plausibility Problem: the church and same sex attraction (IVP).
Alongside our main teaching track we’ll have a full programme for 4-14 year olds (Reception - Y9) led by James Pope and Jess Sanderson and a crèche for babies and toddlers.
As well as a chance to learn there will also be plenty of time for fun and relaxation. For the more active amongst us there will be sports, games and challenges during the afternoon followed by other fun events in the evening for all the family.
We will also have a bookstall with their vast array of fantastic Christian books, so bring a few pennies with you and pick up some excellent titles at discount prices. In the evening we will have a BBQ and there will also be some quality coffee and ice cream vans on-site for you to enjoy.
Following the success of the last two years we’re anticipating that demand will be high. We have only 400 spaces and expect to sell out quickly so make sure you book early to avoid disappointment!
