Word Alive's aim can be summed up in the strap line, Serving the Church, Reaching the World. Our desire is to resource individuals and churches and so empower them in their mission to their local communities and the wider world.
While Word Alive can't recreate the full experience of Word Alive online, Word Alive can provide resources that connect us to God's word and give something of the flavour of the event. In particular Word Alive can offer some of the teaching, training and children's work that many so value about Word Alive.
Word Alive is very aware that in the actual week of Word Alive, many of us will have limited capacity due to work and family commitments or simply through fatigue with online interaction. So Word Alive has decided to offer a simplified programme during the week, and then to make more material available in the following weeks.
During the week that would have been Word Alive, Word Alive will stream sessions throughout the day for us to watch live or catch up with later. Timings each day will be:
4pm–4.30pm Children's session (Families together style)
6.30pm–7.15pm Youth session
7.45pm–7.55pm Count Everyone In
8pm–9pm Main session – David Cook will be teaching us from Proverbs and Olly Knight providing music.
