The Gen Weekend Away

The Gen Weekend Away returns! This legendary weekend includes Bible talks, discussion, wide games, bonfire, ridiculous fun, awesome food and time to chill!

As a team, we believe that weekends away are both a highlight of the year and one of the most important events of the year for our young people. They provide a unique opportunity to dig deeper into the Bible and build friendships. It’s so important to help our young people build and strengthen their friendships and relationships with each other.

We’re heading to St Madoc Centre, on the Gower peninsula, during 25-27 October. We’ll leave around 7:00pm on Friday and return on Sunday afternoon. We’ll travel in a combination of minibus and leaders’ cars. There’ll be more specific details nearer the time.

Gen is for young people in school years 10-13. Anything we can do to make it possible for your young person to join us, we’ll seek to do! Please get in touch with any concerns.

The cost of the weekend per person is £70. A deposit of £35 is requested during registration, with the remainder due by Tuesday 8th October. A discount of £15 per-sibling will be applied automatically when booked together. If this cost is prohibitive for any reason, please don’t be embarrassed to talk to the team - they are able and eager to subsidise places either a lot or a little. We want as many as possible to be able to come!
