Equip Sunday Seminars Wk 1

Four seminar tracks for adults and a programme for children and youth - running for 4 consecutive weeks:

1. Beasts, Battles and Babylon:
   How the apocalyptic literature of the Bible points us to Jesus
   Venue: Triple Room
2. Being Human:
   What does it mean to have a body? To think rationally? To be creative? To live with the reality of death?
   Venue: Chapel
3. Heroes and Heretics:
   An overview of the Early Church (the first six centuries)
   Venue: Double Room
4. Parenting MOT:
   Raising the next generation for Jesus in a confusing world (with 'Growing Young Disciples' team, Mel Lacy & Pete Wright)
   Venue: Coffee Lounge

Children and Youth:

The children & young people's programme will run slightly longer than the adults off from 4:45pm to 6:15pm to enable you to make the most of the seminars you are going to. The sessions end with a time of worship in the chapel at 6:30pm.
Venue: Children - Pierce Hall; Youth - Dalton Street

• Places are first come first serve and you must sign up by Sunday 15th January.

We would love as many children as possible to attend their session but this is dependant on how many leaders are available to serve. You will be emailed by 20th Jan 2023 to confirm your child's place.

Please arrive 10 mins early so you can find your seminar room. Seminars are available on a first-come first-served basis as some rooms have limited capacity. 

The Equip seminars have been designed as distinct tracks. Join one on week 1 and try to stick with it for four sessions.

Children Aged 0-11: Please bring your children to the Pierce Hall at 4:45pm and collect them from the Pierce Hall at 6:15pm and bring them to the Chapel for all age worship at 6:30pm. Please send your children with a packed tea. Please do not include anything with nuts due to children with allergies.  

Youth Aged 11-18: Please bring them to Dalton Street at 4:45pm and meet them in the Chapel for all age worship at 6:30pm. (The Youth Leaders will bring them back to Highfields.)
