Missions Sunday - June 2014

A fresh look at familiar words of Jesus

Revd Dr. Chris WrightWe were privileged to welcome Chris Wright as the speaker for our Missions Sunday at Cathays and to have Dave Gobbett as the speaker at Pontprennau.

In our morning services both Chris and Dave took a fresh look at the familiar words of Jesus in Matthew 28:16-20 "The Great Commission – What’s in it for us?"

Rev Dave GobbettIn the evening Chris Wright spent time answering the question "What kind of Church Growth do we want?" with lessons from the first chapter of Colossians.

There was also an opportunity for all of us to hear more about the strategic work of the Langham Partnership at 4.00 pm that afternoon over a cup of tea.
