Former Highfields Minister for Pontprennau - now The Bridge Church
Summary
Matt is an English-born, Welsh-bred boy who joined Highfields in January 2016 after serving as a Pastor on the team at Ammanford Church. Prior to that he was pastor of a church plant in Carmarthen, having completed the EMW’s theological training course in 2005. Before that Matt worked, for about ten years, in various management and training roles in public and private sectors, having studied law at university.
He’s married to Kath and has two children – Thomas and Sofia, both of whom – unlike Matt and Kath – speak Welsh!
In January 2019, the Pontprennau congregation formed the basis of the new independent church: The Bridge Church
Interests
Circuit-training in an attempt to keep fit and stave off middle-age spread; reading; appreciating proper coffee.
