Do any stories in the Bible trouble you?

If they have, and the 'because' was because of difficult topics in the Old Testament - things it seems to support like genocide, slavery, sexism or homophobia - then why not head down to Highfields on Saturday night, as we address these moral objections head on.
Our speaker, Dr Pete Williams is the main headline speaker at the European Leadership Forum next year, and is perhaps the leading evangelical scholar on the topic globally right now. And on top of that, he's a quite phenomenal communicator. Seriously, I can't plug the evening strongly enough.
The event is a part of our Reformation 500 events which we've planned to coincide with the 500th anniversary of Martin Luther, and his famous stand against the medieval Catholic church. If you want to get up to speed with that, why not watch this fun little introductory video.
Fundamental to what took place was a conviction that the Bible alone is God's infallible word to us.
So, book a babysitter, leave Strictly for iPlayer, bring some friends, and get yourself down to Highfields Church this Saturday night:
